A native New Yorker, Charlie Lapson’s interest in fashion and design led him to seek an education in his home state. It was while studying at New York’s School of Visual Arts and Fashion Institute for Technology that he was able to utilize his creativity and hone his skills. After dabbling in fashion design and couture, and leading design teams for junior and young men’s collections, Charlie Lapson set out to develop his personal label, featuring handbags, jewelry, and watches. 
Though Charlie Lapson’s collection has expanded to include cosmetics and men’s accessories, he is most known for his unique handbags. With a talent for creating interesting shapes and silhouettes, and combining them with luxury and functionality, it is no wonder why he has gained such a devout following among A-listers and Hollywood elite. Christina Ricci, Eva Longoria, Jessica Alba, and L’il Kim have all been spotted toting around his distinctive satchels and shoulder bags. Made from fine Italian leather, each handbag features hand-painted details, metallic finishes, and unexpected combinations of texture and color. 
For those that love sparkly baubles and dramatic jewels, Charlie Lapson’s jewelry collection is both luxurious and classic. Reminiscent of vintage estate jewelry, signature pieces include giant cocktail rings and chandelier earrings with precious stones and pave settings. His jewelry has been featured on the American Idol series and red carpet for the Academy Awards, and of course, the Grammys.
